Kenneth Weines Country Music Artist

Country artist Kenneth Weines (24) from Harstad writes his own music, and in January in 2005 he recorded his first album. Ten of his own songs were recorded in Mainframe Recording Studio in Nashville, TN, with the best musicians available. The owner of Mainframe, Nathan Smith, claimed his vocal performance surpassed many successful American C&W singers. Playing with his band all over Norway, Kenneth has gained a reputation for being one of the best country artists in Norway today. general history: At 18 years old, Kenneth Weines was discovered by Norwegian radio station Nrk Troms. He was invited to their studio to record a four track radio demo, with fellow musicians Geir Høyvik (guitars) and Jørgen Enoksen (bass). This turned out well, and Kenneth started to make his music his livelihood playing local venues, while the demo tracks were being played on radio stations all over Norway. Since then Kenneth and his band has harvested good criticism and made a good reputation of themselves, by being true to the genre and delivering a genuine product to country fans in Norway. In 2002 Kenneth received the "Masters by Mario´s" award in his home town Harstad, for his go-ahead spirit way of work with his music, as well as representing his home town as a touring musician. Kenneth is signed on the record label Tylden, and his first album "Kenneth Weines" was in sale in June 2005. The song "Leave me alone" peaked at nr.2 on the norwegian music chart "Norsktoppen". The video for "Moonbeam over Texas´s skies" was included on a text-message-based tv show "Svisj" -but was removed after a few months because it was playing almost all the time.
